Age Policy

This policy applies to the NaisTV app and the related website operated by us (the "Service"). Curicat (Hong Kong) Technology Limited wants to explain our age requirements clearly and transparently to users, parents and guardians.

1. Minimum age requirement

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Users under 18 may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. By registering an account or making any payment, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

The main reasons for this age requirement are:

  • the Service includes paid unlocks (Drama Coin top-ups) involving real-money transactions;
  • some series involve BL (Boys' Love) romance themes that are better suited to adult viewers with mature understanding; and
  • compliance with applicable laws and content requirements in Hong Kong and the regions where the Service is distributed.

2. Rules for minors

Minors using the Service with parental or guardian consent and supervision must observe the following:

  • all Drama Coin top-ups require the guardian's prior, explicit consent and must be made with the guardian's knowledge;
  • payment methods must not be used without the guardian's consent (including the guardian's bank cards, e-wallets and so on);
  • guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of the Service and any payments arising from it.

3. Nature of the content

All content on the Service consists of original, story-driven BL mini-drama series produced by us. It is free of explicit adult material. Nevertheless, the romance themes and paid-unlock model are primarily aimed at adult users, which is why we set the minimum age at 18.

4. Children under 16

The Service is not designed for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data (see section 10 "Children's privacy" of our Privacy Policy). If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has registered for or used the Service without your consent, please contact us and we will delete the relevant account and personal data.

5. Guidance for parents and guardians

We recommend that parents and guardians take the following measures:

  • keep payment tools (bank cards, e-wallets, app-store account passwords) secure so minors cannot make unauthorised top-ups;
  • use the parental-control or screen-time features built into mobile devices to restrict which apps minors can install and use;
  • talk to minors about online spending and help them build healthy entertainment consumption habits;
  • contact us by email at any time to delete a minor's account or ask about usage records.

6. Handling of violations

If we find that a user does not meet the minimum age requirement, or is using the Service without guardian consent, we may take the following measures:

  • suspend or terminate the relevant account;
  • delete the relevant personal data; and
  • subject to legal requirements, discuss with the guardian how to handle any unused Drama Coin balance in the account.
